There are a number of sources that get you to believe that it is very easy to get a government grant for personal finances. These sources tell you that you are able to get out of debt, compliments of the U.S. Treasury. They also ask you to pay for this information for $29.95, $39.95, $49.95 or other denominations. This information is Totally Untrue!
Government grants are only provided to individuals who are involved in some type of scientific research, or for higher education, it does not provide funds to pay off credit card debt, or pay off your car loan. Some grants are available to low income persons for down payments on a home. However, it is not available to make payments on your home, although the government will help you with financing on a home.
